If you play Open-Face Chinese Poker (OFC), buckle up! We've got some massive news coming your way! Starting December 17th, after the update, the game will feature several improvements that boost the action in the hands and open up new strategic opportunities.
Meet the Jokers
New Joker tables will soon be available in the lobby. Jokers function like 'wild' cards in slots; they aren't restricted to a single suit or rank. Whenever a Joker appears in your hand, it automatically transforms into the card that creates the strongest possible hand.
You don't need to do a thing — it all happens automatically. The combination is calculated as if the Joker has already become the needed card. For example, if you have: ♥️A, ♦️A, ♣️A and a Joker → the Joker will become the fourth Ace, creating Four of a Kind (A-A-A-A).
New types of Fantasy
Fantasy is one of the most beloved aspects of Chinese Poker, and now we're offering you the chance to try out two brand-new variations!
The first is Ultimate Fantasy. It will give you more consistency and control. You will always receive the same number of cards you had upon entering your first Fantasy (ranging from 14 to 17). Strategy becomes clearer, decisions are more deliberate, and the game becomes predictable exactly where it matters most.
The number of cards you will receive depends on the combination in your bottom box (back hand) that initially brought you into Fantasy:
QQ: 14 cards
KK: 15 cards
AA: 16 cards
222 and better: 17 cards
The second type is Tournament Fantasy. This is a new format that opens up fresh possibilities in the game. Very soon, tournaments with this type of fantasy will be introduced, so let’s take a closer look at what makes it special.
The number of cards depends exclusively on the strength of the hand in the top box (front hand):
QQ: 13 cards
KK: 14 cards
AA: 15 cards
222 and better: 16 cards
There are no repeat Fantasies — every attempt is unique and maximally significant. Therefore, look for every possible option to maximize the strength of your cards.
Card Tracker: A New Control Tool in Chinese Poker
A clear and convenient Card Tracker has been implemented in the Chinese Poker game client.
It visually displays which cards have already been dealt (or 'seen'), including your own cards and those of your opponents.
This tool helps you more accurately assess the board, calculate combination probabilities, and make decisions that influence the outcome of every hand.
Changes to the Rake System:
What has changed? Previously, the commission was a flat 5% and was charged at the end of the match. But that's history now! We are moving to a flexible and uniform approach. Rake will now be collected on every hand played, but with a reduced commission percentage. As a result, the total burden on players will decrease and be distributed more evenly. Play longer and enjoy yourself more — we'll make sure you have the most comfortable experience possible!
